Meet Kacey + DJ.
Kacey and DJ are both from my hometown – Tompkinsville, Kentucky. Be it small, the small-town, country kindness is my favorite attribute of the county, and Kacey and DJ embody that spirit.
The first time I photographed this couple was at their engagement photos in October of last year. They were so easy to work with, and we had a blast exploring Standing Stone.
Kacey’s mom opened a wedding and event venue this past year, and they were set to have their special day there. I knew it would be gorgeous, and boy, was I right!
It did rain that day (yay, Kentucky weather!), but a little rain couldn’t drown the happiness that surrounded this couple. Kacey’s daughter, Kenslee, smiled ear-to-ear the whole day and was such a help keeping everything and everyone organized.
Kacey and DJ emanated joy during their first look, laughs during the ceremony and tight hugs during their first dance. It was easy to capture the love between them.
I’m so honored that they chose me to photograph such a special day in their lives. I hope you’ve enjoyed these sneak peeks!
